The training on thematic “Select the Best”

23 farmers from 9 villages of 4 territorial body in Marneuli Municipality attended the training on thematic “Select the Best”, hold on November 19 in the Farmers’ Municipal House of Marneuli Municipality. Participants expressed great interest to training’s topics.

Questions were raised mainly on the care of potato seeds for better seeding. Dali Tsiklauri, senior scientific researcher at the Research Center for Agricultural Research leaded training and responded to participants’ questions. The brochure on Positive Selection and two categories of questionnaires in Georgian and Azeri languages have been distributed among the training participants. By filling out the first category questionnaire, we have received information about the areas occupied by farmers, villages and potato cultures, and fill in the second category questionnaire addressed to the knowledge and experience of farmers. Geronti Sivsivadze, Head of Marneuli Municipality Information Center, and Senior Agronomist-specialist Jumber Shubitidze attended the training.
