CIP continues to train and consult farmers for farmers in positive selection

Georgian scientists trained by experts from the International Potato Center (CIP) continued to train and consult farmers for farmers in positive selection.

Representatives of Structural Units of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture – Dali Tsiklauri, Scientific-Research Center of Agricultural, Kakhaber Janukashvili, Head of Farmers Information-Consultation Center in Kazbegi and Levan Tkemaladze, PhD Student of the Georgian Agricultural University, conducted the trainings for farmers and together with farmers selected best potato plants in their own fields in 19 village of in 6 communities of Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. Totally 16 farms have been covered, positive selected conducted at 60 farmers’ farms. The next selection will be planned in the second half of August.
